Party Time!

Menaya will be having their album launch on the 8th of August. Free albums to the first five! Let's party!

*****

I'm done reading Eclipse. Eclipse is definitely my favorite book in the Twilight series. I THINK the other two sucks. Ha ha! I'm actually looking forward to Breaking Dawn.

August is drawing near! Panic at the Disco! Eraserheads Reunion! Can't wait!

Cartoons

I was searching the net for American Idol pictures (specifically Brooke and Jason) and I stumbled upon these cute pictures:

Cartoon versions = Uber cool!

And So The Apple Falls From The Tree

Guess what. Toffer's off Pinoy Idol. I was kinda expecting it since he didn't do well during the performance night. But I was hoping to see another contestant go home. I even voted for him 10 times! Guess I should have voted more. Sue and Toffer's back-to-back departure reminded me of the time Brooke and Jason got voted off consecutively on American Idol. Two of my favorites gone one after the other. Well, Brooke and Jason got further than Sue and Toffer; Sue only placed 9th while Toffer was 8th. I wouldn't be so pissed off if Toffer stayed for one more week. Next performance night was band night. The likes of 6cyclemind and Pupil would be there to be the contestants' mentor. Toffer would probably blow the house down on performance night. Since my favorites are out of the running, my bets are on the two rockers left in the show: Ram and Warren. Since Robby left the show, I had a feeling that Ram can actually win this thing.

I'm nearing the end of New Moon. Nearing being the keyword. I don't know why I'm so bad at finishing the books in the Twilight series. It's been pretty interesting now but I'm still not head over heels with it. But I already have a favorite character in it: Alice Cullen. I like her. Better than Bella.

I am so craving for crepes!

Mamma Mia!

Connection's still crappy. Bummer. I was in a happy mood yesterday. And I was so full of stories to put here. But connection's down the whole day yesterday. So the happy mood faded, as did the stories. I don't feel like writing about them now.

*****

I'm off to see Dark Knight tomorrow. Can't wait!

*****

New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series, was dragging. I'm still in the 4th chapter though. And I'm actually annoyed with Bella. Hopefully, the story gets better in the middle.

*****

I spent the whole day watching movies. Mamma Mia's soundtrack is so cool! The movie? Not so much. If the movie wasn't a musical, it would be really boring. Indiana Jones was cool too. I love Shia LaBeouf's character. He's really hilarious. I also watched Camp Rock just to see if Joe Jonas can act. Well, he could and he looked cute as always. Ha ha ha!

Nahihilo, Nalilito

Helen has been pretty annoying since Monday. Internet connection's been crappy since she arrived. Then today she unleashed more of her tenacity which resulted to a 6-hour blackout. Even the phone's gone. I hope she leaves tonight. Too much rainy weather can be a drag.

*****

The 6-hour blackout was hell. There was nothing to do! So I'm stuck with Twilight. Not that it's such a bad thing. But I did realize that I'm never gonna finish that book when there's so much more things I can be doing. That I needed to be subjected to long hours of staring into space before I pick up the book. So now that the first book's done with, I'm moving on to the second. I hope it's better than the first. *fingers crossed*

*****

Migraine is on top of my playlist today. That song is really stuck in my head especially the lyrics. Ha ha ha! Those lyrics hit home. Bullseye. Whenever I hear that song, a certain someone comes to mind. Which is bad, really bad.

*****

Dark Knight got bad reviews. Still, Heath Ledger's performance was said to be phenomenal. That's still one good reason to go see the movie.

They're Coming!

The rain has gone but it's still cold which is good. Someone 's praying for a class suspension. *wink*

*****

Twilight's still on top of the reading list. Haven't been able to reach the end yet. I'll set tonight as a deadline. The book still fails to grasp my full attention. I don't dislike the book, there's just something lacking in it for me. And that something hinders me from finishing the book in one day. The hyperactive mind still tends to wander to other thoughts even while reading the book.

*****

My mom's going to Binondo today to buy some hopia. The mere mention of the word hopia made my mouth water. I love hopia especially the ube-pastillas combination. Yummy!

*****

My MUST-SEE List (for the next few weeks):
- The Dark Knight movie on July 17!
- Daughtry on July 29 at Eastwood!
- Panic at the Disco's concert on August 14 at Araneta!
- Eraserhead reunion on August 30 at the CCP open grounds!

I feel like Christmas came early.

Math Nerd

It's been raining all day. I like it. I love the sound of raindrops hitting the roof. I like the cold. Too much sun and heat makes me cranky.

*****

I can't get Santeria (the song not the religion) out of my head. I've been humming it all day long. I can't help playing it over and over. I don't know why but I really like this song. Must be the catchy melody. Or the certain someone who sang it on the American Idol auditions. *smiles*

Speaking of American Idol, I've just read Ramiele's blog in myspace. She said someone gave her puto and she's very happy about it. That's so cute. Guess she misses Filipino foods. And I saw a video of Little David pulling one of Jason's dreads playfully. I thought that was hilarious.

*****

Internet connection's crappy. I did a math assignment. Hopefully, I solved them correctly. I enjoy solving math problems. I love the challenge. The nerd in me.

The sundae craving stops here. After a chat about Teriyaki Boy, I'm now craving for sushi.

Sunday Sundae

I'm still stuck on Twilight. I've been reading for 3 (or maybe 4?) days but I'm nowhere near the half mark. Not normal for a fast reader (I read the last Harry Potter book in about a day and a half). Guess this shows how much interest I have in this book. It's not Harry Potter but I have to say the book's quite good. It's not as well written but it certainly has a good storyline.

*****

The internet connection was gone this morning. So while waiting, I decided to amuse myself by playing what games installed in the computer. I never thought that a game of Wheel of Fortune can be SO stressful! After playing for about an hour, I finally won a game. Finally!

*****

Guess who got kicked off Pinoy Idol today: Sue Ellen. The cutest girl on the show. In Wyngard's own words, "the doll on top of a cake". I kinda like her voice. It was unique unlike the usual birit voice that singing contestants tend to have. For a probinsiyana, I never expected her to sound like a foreign artist yet she did. No punto. Though she has one when she speaks. Guess her uniqueness wasn't enough to pull her through another week. I think the power of the birit still prevails in such contests.

I'm still waiting for the sundae craving to end.

Twilight + Idol = Sundae Cravings

New blog! Lots of fresh inexhaustible space to put my nonsense.

*****

Been reading Twilight since yesterday. The hype finally caught up on me. Sort of. Well, at least the hype about Robert Pattinson playing Edward Cullen did. And I heard (read actually) that lots of the book’s fans don’t like him playing the part. So I looked at some of the movie’s promotional shots and there’s only one thing that came to mind upon seeing his face: he STILL looks like he’s playing Cedric Diggory. So I decided to read the book to see if his detractors are right. Well, I haven’t finished the book yet but as far as I’ve read, I CAN certainly imagine Robert playing Edward.

*****

I still can’t believe it’s possible but the Pinoy Idol hopefuls are getting better week after week. At least some of them are. Still, the show can really get to my nerves at times. Especially the Idol Extra episodes. Is that show really necessary? Oh, and Wyngard’s OBVIOUSLY trying to emulate Simon Cowell which is freakin’ annoying! But there’s always a good thing in everything. Ely and the rest of Pupil will be mentors on the show!

*****

I need an ice cream sundae fix right now.
