Proud Moment

Okay. So last night was Pupil's last public gig for this year. They're off to Dubai this week. Another out of the country gig! My boys are getting way too famous. Lol. But it makes me really proud of them. Whenever I see people crowding over them during/after gigs, it makes me smile really big. And winning 5 out of 8 nominations in the NU Rock Awards was superb. They totally deserve it.

Last night was uber fun. The setlist:
  • Sala
  • Monobloc
  • Pare Ko
  • Magasin
  • Dulo Ng Dila
  • Disconnection Notice
  • Nasan Ka
  • More Than Words
  • Alapaap
Thank you Dok! I REALLY needed to hear Dulo Ng Dila. And stop saying you're fat! You're really thin, seriously. I bet the 420 shirt fits you again.

The gig ended at around one in the morning. But we stayed up until 2:30 AM. I didn't take pictures because Lhen was there and she's way better at taking band photos than me. I'll put up the pictures when she does.

Oh, and Archipelago played before Pupil. They're freaking amazing. Of course they are. Half of them are half of Pupil so they're obviously good.

Gah! I really missed the guys. I'm so glad I showed up last night. And they looked surprised that I was there. I guess I've been gone for a long time. Yeah, Dok I'll show up more often. I promise.

EDIT:
Pupil just won the Best Rock Band award in SOP Music Awards! No Dok, I am NOT kidding! You DID win! Sometimes, your texts crack me up. Again, congratulations!

A Song And A Smile

I just got home! I'm so deliriously happy right now! Notice the exclamation marks! I'll post the details later! I need to sleep first!

I'm Sick And I Hate It

I'm going to a gig! I'm going to a gig! Yes I am. After two freaking long months, I'm going to a gig. A Pupil gig of course. I'm so stoked!

*****

T-shirt Project is in progress. I actually printed three and a half. Yes, three and a half. Because one shirt had no print on the back yet. I made a Team Edward one. It says "TEAM EDWARD" on the front and "...coz Jacob cannot SPARKLE!" on the back. I got that line from Jac's thread on the PATD forum. So, thanks Jac! I'm gonna go and sell them once I made some more. And I'm gonna post pictures of the shirt soon. Hopefully, by tomorrow.

Yeah Dok, I'm totally stealing YOUR business.
Lol.

Big Screen Post

I just got home a few minutes ago. Tabs and I watched a last full show of Twilight. I love it! Jasper Hale ftw! When we got to the cinema, the end credits of the previous screening was just starting. I died when Jackson's face came onscreen. Seriously. I think I even squealed. Fangirl moment. Ugh.

The movie's nice. My favorite part was when Bella was introduced to Jasper. The look on his face was priceless! I kept seeing it in my head. Lol. And I melt every freaking time Alice and Jasper are together.

Rob was amazing, he always is. I really love Rob. Not Edward. And yeah, the "I-love-Rob-coz-he's-Edward" fans still pisses me off.

Anway, the movie's really good but like all things, I found some things to complain about. I hated the editing, it sucks tbh. And they removed some of the good bits and put some boring ones. I was so looking forward to Alice's story but they cut it. And Jasper's talent seemed to be missing. Also, am I the only one who thinks the "meadow scene" is not good enough?

*****

The Eraserheads Reunion Concert is being shown in cinemas. Guess who makes an appearance on the big screen! Me, apparently. I have yet to see it but Lhen told me that we were seen. Oh. My. Jon.

I Can't Hear You

Pupil was in SOP today. Honestly, the performance sucked. Mainly because I can barely hear Dok's bass. And he seems pissed off about it too. I'm gonna text him about it later. I need load first. Lol.

Reinvent Love!
I love Dex for coming up with this project. c:

I Hate It When You're Here

Amazing Race Asia ended last night. Team Philippines finished second! It was a close race to the finish line. Nevertheless, the HK boys deserve the win. I was rooting for them too.

The sun is back. I would probably be out today if it weren't for my period.

Michael Johns is doing mall tours here. His last show is tonight.

EDIT: It's raining again! Oh no. If this goes on until tonight, I'm staying home.

Bring On The Rain

After a week of freaking hot sun-filled days, I had a whole day's worth of rain. Probably gonna last until tomorrow. Which is quite good, if you ask me. I've been melting because of the excessive heat. It's Christmas season, it's supposed to be cold.

*****

I finally joined the PATD Forum. The people there are really nice. If you aren't a member yet, go join if you love Panic at the Disco. The link is there on the first sentence, if you haven't noticed.

*****

Tabs joined the cheering squad. I'm actually excited about it. I guess it officially means that cheerleading is a family thing for us.

*****

I finally got the chance to watch the EMAs. It was way better and cooler than the VMAs. I died when Paul McCartney came on stage. One lucky audience member got an "I love you, too" from him. Really lucky. I'd die over and over again if that was me.

And Katy Perry is the cutest girl ever.

Dear Followers

Okay. I can't figure out how to display the follower thingy. And apparently, it's not supposed to show when you're using the classic template editor. So I gotta do another template using the new xml editor. And until I do so, you can add me to your "Blogs I Am Following" list through your dashboard. On the part labelled "Reading List", click the add button then put my url in there. And you're done. Sorry for the hassle. When I'm done with my new xml layout, the follower thing would be visible. Promise.

Living In A Box

The Rihanna and Chris Brown concert is nearing. And yeah, it sucks that I can't go.

*****

It's been a rainy day. Somehow it made me feel a little gloomy. I've been talking to a new friend and I hoped I made her feel better. It's been a while since I last reached out and helped a friend. Yeah, it's easy for me to get lost in my own little world sometimes and I'm just starting to come back out.

It's my cat's birthday. Lol.

Major Overhaul

I've decided to go public with this blog. But before I do so, I'm gonna edit (maybe even delete) some of my old posts. Prolly gonna change my layout too. And yeah, I'm deleting the photos too. Just coz they take too much time to load when I'm interneting (lol) on my phone. I'll start editing after I post this.

So yeah, a change is gonna come.

Yes, We Can!

OBAMA WON!

I'm so stoked! I've been following the US Presidential Campaigns since Obama and Clinton's battle to be the Democrats' candidate. I was always betting for Obama just because I think McCain would be another Bush.

Anyway, I was watching CNN all morning. They were live covering the counts and polls. And I went crazy when California votes came in and pushed Obama's electoral votes to 262. Immediately after, another state's votes came in with 11 electoral votes for him which enabled him to surpass the required 270. And just like that, Obama won by a landslide. I was so happy that I got to witness the moment his victory was announced!

McCain gave a speech after the announcement. He was really humble and you can see that he's somewhat happy for Obama. His crowd was booing him when he said that Obama deserved the win. And he was asking them not to boo. He's a nice guy. I look up to him for standing up when everyone was being disrespectful.

Obama's speech was really awesome. You can tell that he really cares not just for the US but for the whole world. A lot of people were crying. It was so emotional. I hope he does change the world.

Watching the US Elections made me wish that the elections here are as monumental and heartwarming. Also, that we are electing officials who will actually make a difference, who will show real concern for the country, who will care enough to solve problems. Here, most politicians care more for their pockets than for the country's welfare. Elections here are more twisted than a pretzel stick. This is why I never gave a damn about it.

I love TAI's and Paramore's new videos. Watch them and tell me what you think. Click the band names for the link.

I'll Miss You

I'm so in love with Halloween!

The Academy Is

William looks so weird!

Panic At The Disco

Brendon is a hot vampire!

Cutest Halloween Picture Ever!

Spencer's soooo adorable!

*****

This made me LOL for 5 whole minutes. Seriously!

Interviewer: If you were stranded on an island with the band, which band member would you eat first?
Jon: Spencer 'cause he's the youngest and his meat is still the most tender.

Rain, Mud and Lots Of Sun

Okay! I'm gonna go back to making my own titles because now I'm too lazy to think of which song I wanna quote.

*****

So we spent half the day in Everest Hills Memorial Park. I
saw lots of familiar faces, mostly high school classmates. It was freaking hot like it was the middle of summer (reminds me of a Panic song). And yeah, I went home tired.

*****

Camwhoring sessions! Nica and I decided to fool around and copy some PATD photos. The one below is our favorite. Laugh your hearts out.

Epic failure. Ha ha! More non-Panic related pictures in my multiply.
