Jon Loves Me
I literally freaked out when I saw them sitting on the shelf. Considering how sucky the music shops here are, I wasn't expecting to find one. So yeah, I freaked and scared all the salespeople in there.
I look forward to a day of watching it nonstop.

Proud Moment
Last night was uber fun. The setlist:
- Sala
- Monobloc
- Pare Ko
- Magasin
- Dulo Ng Dila
- Disconnection Notice
- Nasan Ka
- More Than Words
- Alapaap
The gig ended at around one in the morning. But we stayed up until 2:30 AM. I didn't take pictures because Lhen was there and she's way better at taking band photos than me. I'll put up the pictures when she does.
Oh, and Archipelago played before Pupil. They're freaking amazing. Of course they are. Half of them are half of Pupil so they're obviously good.
Gah! I really missed the guys. I'm so glad I showed up last night. And they looked surprised that I was there. I guess I've been gone for a long time. Yeah, Dok I'll show up more often. I promise.
EDIT: Pupil just won the Best Rock Band award in SOP Music Awards! No Dok, I am NOT kidding! You DID win! Sometimes, your texts crack me up. Again, congratulations!

T-shirt Project is in progress. I actually printed three and a half. Yes, three and a half. Because one shirt had no print on the back yet. I made a Team Edward one. It says "TEAM EDWARD" on the front and "...coz Jacob cannot SPARKLE!" on the back. I got that line from Jac's thread on the PATD forum. So, thanks Jac! I'm gonna go and sell them once I made some more. And I'm gonna post pictures of the shirt soon. Hopefully, by tomorrow.
Yeah Dok, I'm totally stealing YOUR business. Lol.

Big Screen Post
The movie's nice. My favorite part was when Bella was introduced to Jasper. The look on his face was priceless! I kept seeing it in my head. Lol. And I melt every freaking time Alice and Jasper are together.
Rob was amazing, he always is. I really love Rob. Not Edward. And yeah, the "I-love-Rob-coz-he's-Edward" fans still pisses me off.
Anway, the movie's really good but like all things, I found some things to complain about. I hated the editing, it sucks tbh. And they removed some of the good bits and put some boring ones. I was so looking forward to Alice's story but they cut it. And Jasper's talent seemed to be missing. Also, am I the only one who thinks the "meadow scene" is not good enough?

The Eraserheads Reunion Concert is being shown in cinemas. Guess who makes an appearance on the big screen! Me, apparently. I have yet to see it but Lhen told me that we were seen. Oh. My. Jon.

Yes, We Can!
I'm so stoked! I've been following the US Presidential Campaigns since Obama and Clinton's battle to be the Democrats' candidate. I was always betting for Obama just because I think McCain would be another Bush.
Anyway, I was watching CNN all morning. They were live covering the counts and polls. And I went crazy when California votes came in and pushed Obama's electoral votes to 262. Immediately after, another state's votes came in with 11 electoral votes for him which enabled him to surpass the required 270. And just like that, Obama won by a landslide. I was so happy that I got to witness the moment his victory was announced!
McCain gave a speech after the announcement. He was really humble and you can see that he's somewhat happy for Obama. His crowd was booing him when he said that Obama deserved the win. And he was asking them not to boo. He's a nice guy. I look up to him for standing up when everyone was being disrespectful.
Obama's speech was really awesome. You can tell that he really cares not just for the US but for the whole world. A lot of people were crying. It was so emotional. I hope he does change the world.
Watching the US Elections made me wish that the elections here are as monumental and heartwarming. Also, that we are electing officials who will actually make a difference, who will show real concern for the country, who will care enough to solve problems. Here, most politicians care more for their pockets than for the country's welfare. Elections here are more twisted than a pretzel stick. This is why I never gave a damn about it.

I Came Here To Make You Dance Tonight (aka "The Birthday Post")
Hell yeah! I gots myself TWO cakes!
I looked drunk in most of the pictures so no, you won't be seeing any more than this. Ha ha! Thanks to everyone who messaged me. I really feel happy when people remember my birthday. I get all giddy every single time my phone beeps or when I see that I have new messages in my networking sites. Yeah, I crave for attention during my birthday (and most days actually, borderline much?).
To Jiselle: Your gremlin messaged me out of nowhere. Buhay pa pala siya. Ha ha! I can't even remember the last time I talked to him.
Anyway, Nica, Tabs and I ate our hearts out. We got really bloated and drunk over soda. After eating, we rocked-and-danced-like-Glaiza to Disconnection Notice thru Myx. Imagine us dancing like her. Exactly like her. Well, at least me and Nica. Tabs was just laughing her ass off the entire time, I think. Also, we watched Panic's "It's Almost Halloween" video over and over again. Gotta love the dance parts! And yeah, we're learning the steps so we can dance that way too. Ha ha! Crazy crazy.
EK trip is pushing thru! Stoked to the core! Yeah. But a little put off since Kim had this crazy idea of inviting him along.
Gotta go learn that Panic halloween dance now. And prolly drink more soda and go Brendon-like crazy and hyper.

For a college dropout with an unstable minimum wage job, being pregnant with your barely-a-year-together-boyfriend's kid at age 22 is the stupidest idea ever. Honestly, this makes me sick.
I'm not against pre-marital sex but I'm not exactly promoting it either. I don't care if you're sexing (LOL), i won't judge you or look at you differently. It's when you make lame decisions like getting knocked up when you can barely afford buying things for yourself that makes me look down on you and question your sanity.
And no, I AM NOT PREGNANT.

I went out with Sim and Kim last Saturday. We ate at Dad's then hang out at Greenbelt and made fun of the people sitting around or passing us (Yeah, yeah it's mean, your point?). Talked more about random nonsenseness before we called it a day, er, night.

Tongue-Tied And Overloaded
Sometimes I wish it stayed that way. Then, he would just be a part of some silly childhood picture.
*****
I’ll probably hate myself for bringing this up.
So I’ve been reading those old journals this afternoon. When I reached the 2004 to 2006 journal, I stopped. I didn’t want to read it. See, I already did a great deal just to forget everything that happened in that period. I’ve done a good job forgetting and I don’t want the memories to come back. But I’m too curious for my own good, so yeah, I freaking read it.
As I expected, every single page was filled with RG stories. I cringed at most of them, by the way.
Reading them made me realize how many things I was able to block out. And I’m so proud of myself at how good I am at blocking stuff out. Memory gap does have its advantages!
Before today, I was so scared of having these memories back. I’ve always thought that when I bring them back, the confusion, feelings and unresolved issues would come back too.
So is it back? I’ll give it a day to sink in.

Reason:
I wanna see My Bestfriend's Girl! The song's in the OST and I'm in love with the lyrics especially the chorus part. And William's voice sounds so sweet! Ha ha!

The justice system is really twisted. I can't believe a murderer was set free. That kind of news makes me sick.

Nica kept asking me about RG last night. And I didn't answer a single question. I really don't want to talk about him. Come on, it's been 2 years (I think), give it up. The moment he left school, he walked out of my life. Stop bringing him back in.

I Am A Wolf But I Like To Wear Sheep's Clothing
William gets me stoked any day with his blog entries.

Tabs joined me on my quest of figuring out other people's favoritest word. She told me that her new favoritest word is "favoritest". I told her it doesn't count since technically it's not a word. So she's still stuck with "emo". Yeah!
*****
About my Invisible Monsters post, it's not literal, okay? My room didn't get invaded. I was referring to something else. Something that's been bothering me since high school. Something I've been trying to get rid of since then. And I think I've only ever told four people about it, three of which have never seen this blog. So unless you're part of the four or you're a really smart ass(I meant that in a good way), I don't think you'll get it. But if you do get it, I'm okay now, don't worry. The monsters are back in the closet. For now, at least.

Finally! I got rid of Thunder playing over and over in my head. Thanks to the Myx Daily Top10, Disturbia is now stuck in my head. I've been watching the show every day because they have this VJ search thing going on. And every show, a new set of finalists is shown and tested. Out of sheer randomness, I dared Tabs to speak English all night. She wasn't speaking for a full three minutes. It was getting boring so to make things exciting, I thought of giving her a prize. Running Around With 5 Hours of Sleep
BOYS LIKE GIRLS:
They're awesome! They rocked Trinoma (literally, the floors were shaking). I'm now officially in love with Martin! Ha ha!
Click here for the photos my super amazing friend took.
AXN EVENT:
Pupil (less Ely) opened the event. It was fun but it was still obvious that they're not a three-piece-band. Their set was not as smooth and there's definitely some "oops" and "oh no" moments. But the boys pulled through. I really miss hearing Prinsesa, so it definitely made my day when Dok sang it.
We hang out backstage after the set. Goofed off a bit. Lhen and Dok were having camera talks every so often. Then we had our pictures taken at the AXN photo booth. Dok and Yan went crazy over the basketball/trampoline thingy.
After the AXN event, the gang and I went to the wake of Ely's mom. The place was packed. Dok was already there when we arrived. Eon was there playing with his new toys (birthday gifts I guess). Yes, it was his birthday yesterday. Wendell came too and also the Yuzons. We left some time past two in the morning and Eon was still playing with his toys. That kid is so hyper. The ride home was fun. It's always fun when you're riding with Dok. Except for the driving. But, hey whatever, I'm all for the safe driving plus you got to have more conversations in. And we had a very interesting conversation this time. Very interesting.

Stop Whining!
The Eraserheads Reunion Concert was a blast. Though they just barely managed to finish the first set when the show was called off, it was well worth it. I was in total fangirl mode from the moment they appeared on the stage up until the last song for the first set. There's supposed to be a second and third set(each set has 10 songs except the first which has 15). Unfortunately, Ely had to be rushed to the hospital.
I knew something was wrong with him. I'm not sure when exactly (memory gap in progress) but he began looking tired. And he can't barely move while changing guitars. During the last song in the first set, he looked really weary.
Okay, I know a lot of stuff about what happened backstage and after but I'm not going to talk about it. Ely's fine now and that's what matters.
To those people who keeps on complaining and saying that they wasted their money on the show, think about this: Ely did his best to give you a great show. He finished the whole set even though he's starting to feel sick halfway through it. And that's already 15 songs! Come on, we're lucky they even agreed to go through this show. Personally, I'm already so happy just seeing them back together that one song would be more than enough. So stop complaining already and just pray for Ely's health instead of being all selfish about the whole thing. I hope you all had heart attacks! Kidding! Ha ha ha!

While the rain angrily splatters on my windowsill, the road began to swirl down the drain. I'm so bored today. And I realized that I'm not making sense in everything I say in the last 24 hours. I'm craving for donuts. So on my way home today, I stopped by Dunkin' Donuts and bought a dozen donuts. I ate 3 donuts immediately after I arrived home. 3! No wonder I'm getting fatter.
*****
I'm totally hooked on Megan McCafferty's Sloppy Firsts series. Currently, there are four books in the series. I'm now on the second book entitled "Second Helpings". It's really addicting. Can't wait to finish it and move on to the third book.

Pinoy Idol is a sad excuse for a singing contest! Honestly, you can never entrust the voting on fans alone, especially in this country. After the finals show, I now have more reason to believe that the Filipino fans vote for face value rather than actual talent.

All Was Golden When The Day Met The Night
I'm now sooo in love with Ryro! He's much cuter in person! How can someone so cute become more cuter?! It should be illegal. Ha ha! He's too thin though. I want to take him home and feed him a hundred burgers. Kidding! And I love his red guitar!
I was so enthralled with Ryan and Brendon that I barely noticed Jon and Spencer. I love them both too. It's just that Brendon and Ryan have a way of commanding attention while on stage. Anyway, Spencer plays the drums like Bogs. He looks like he's dancing while playing the drums. It's so entertaining. Jon's really good too. His dance moves are cute. Brendon and Jon should dance together more often.
I'm so happy I got to watch them live. It's was unbelievable. It was like your still listening to their records, only this time it's way better! They changed the arrangements in some of the old songs which worked really well. Everybody loved them. The crowd sang along to every song which made the PATD guys really happy.
They sang 17 songs but it felt like they just sang a couple of songs. Everything happened so fast. It was so good, you'd never want it to end. But it had to, and it did.
God, I miss 'em already!

Northern Downpour Sends Its Love
I just realized that Brendon's "poses" always cracks me up.
*****
Tomorrow's the meet and greet. Finally! I don't think I can handle the anticipation any longer. And I seriously need to return to "normal". I need more not PATD-related thoughts.
*****
Too much excitement causes sickness. I have the flu. Damn. I hope I don't sneeze on Ryro. Ha ha!
*****
Pupil already shot a video for Disconnection Notice. I can't wait to see it. The concept sounds interesting. I really miss going to their gigs. I need to see them. Soon.

Wednesday Won't Come Soon Enough
*****
I forgot to watch Pinoy Idol. Intentionally. I was watching Myx when I noticed that it's 7:30. The show's already halfway through. Yet I didn't change channels. I didn't know why it took me this long to stop watching that show. I should have stopped when Toffer got kicked.

Tattoo planning is still in progress.
*****
I went to SM North with JM. The crowd's unbelievable. I hate crowds. "Crowd" and "mall" should not be allowed in the same sentence. Ugh.

Speaking of tattoos, I really like this:

I can't stop listening to "Behind the Sea" and "Mad as Rabbits". I'm really getting more Ryro-obsessive with every passing minute and it's so frustrating! Somebody save me.

Ryromania
Became as mad as rabbits
With bushels of bad habits
- Mad as Rabbits
As the 14th draws nearer, I'm becoming more Ryro-obsessive. Bad! Really bad!

Last Sunday, I was able to obtain an ebook of Breaking Dawn. So I've been able to reach half of the story before I got my book on Monday morning. And up to this moment, I'm still not too attached to the series to finish the book in a day or two. The book got mixed reviews, both good and bad. And I'm gonna agree with whoever said that "Meyer should have stopped with Eclipse". I haven't finished the book yet so I might have to eat my words later. Ha ha!
*****
Warren got kicked off Pinoy idol last Sunday. I wasn't surprised because he actually sucked during the performance night. But his departure left me with only one vote-worthy contestant. I'm really hoping that Ram wins.

9 days to go until the PATD concert. I wanna get this over with so I can go back to being not Ryro-obsessive.

"You're Driving Me Crazy!"
A few more days to go before Panic at the Disco's concert. I can't wait to see RyRo and Brendon! Ha ha ha! I've been obsessing with this concert for days now. I keep checking their myspace every single day just to make sure the show's really happening. Ha ha ha!
*****
I've been reading Sloppy Firsts since yesterday and I can't seem to put it down. It's so funny. It brings me back to high school. It's the first book in the series and currently there are four books out. So I'm hoping I get to finish the first by tonight so I can move on to the next book. Ha ha!
*****
I'm dying to go to Japan! I wanna see WaT and KAT-TUN!

Party Time!

I'm done reading Eclipse. Eclipse is definitely my favorite book in the Twilight series. I THINK the other two sucks. Ha ha! I'm actually looking forward to Breaking Dawn.

August is drawing near! Panic at the Disco! Eraserheads Reunion! Can't wait!

And So The Apple Falls From The Tree
*****
I'm nearing the end of New Moon. Nearing being the keyword. I don't know why I'm so bad at finishing the books in the Twilight series. It's been pretty interesting now but I'm still not head over heels with it. But I already have a favorite character in it: Alice Cullen. I like her. Better than Bella.

I am so craving for crepes!

Mamma Mia!
*****
I'm off to see Dark Knight tomorrow. Can't wait!
*****
New Moon, the second book in the Twilight series, was dragging. I'm still in the 4th chapter though. And I'm actually annoyed with Bella. Hopefully, the story gets better in the middle.
*****
I spent the whole day watching movies. Mamma Mia's soundtrack is so cool! The movie? Not so much. If the movie wasn't a musical, it would be really boring. Indiana Jones was cool too. I love Shia LaBeouf's character. He's really hilarious. I also watched Camp Rock just to see if Joe Jonas can act. Well, he could and he looked cute as always. Ha ha ha!

Nahihilo, Nalilito

The 6-hour blackout was hell. There was nothing to do! So I'm stuck with Twilight. Not that it's such a bad thing. But I did realize that I'm never gonna finish that book when there's so much more things I can be doing. That I needed to be subjected to long hours of staring into space before I pick up the book. So now that the first book's done with, I'm moving on to the second. I hope it's better than the first. *fingers crossed*

Migraine is on top of my playlist today. That song is really stuck in my head especially the lyrics. Ha ha ha! Those lyrics hit home. Bullseye. Whenever I hear that song, a certain someone comes to mind. Which is bad, really bad.
*****
Dark Knight got bad reviews. Still, Heath Ledger's performance was said to be phenomenal. That's still one good reason to go see the movie.

They're Coming!
*****
Twilight's still on top of the reading list. Haven't been able to reach the end yet. I'll set tonight as a deadline. The book still fails to grasp my full attention. I don't dislike the book, there's just something lacking in it for me. And that something hinders me from finishing the book in one day. The hyperactive mind still tends to wander to other thoughts even while reading the book.

My mom's going to Binondo today to buy some hopia. The mere mention of the word hopia made my mouth water. I love hopia especially the ube-pastillas combination. Yummy!

My MUST-SEE List (for the next few weeks):
- The Dark Knight movie on July 17!
- Daughtry on July 29 at Eastwood!
- Panic at the Disco's concert on August 14 at Araneta!
- Eraserhead reunion on August 30 at the CCP open grounds!
I feel like Christmas came early.

Math Nerd
*****
I can't get Santeria (the song not the religion) out of my head. I've been humming it all day long. I can't help playing it over and over. I don't know why but I really like this song. Must be the catchy melody. Or the certain someone who sang it on the American Idol auditions. *smiles*
Speaking of American Idol, I've just read Ramiele's blog in myspace. She said someone gave her puto and she's very happy about it. That's so cute. Guess she misses Filipino foods. And I saw a video of Little David pulling one of Jason's dreads playfully. I thought that was hilarious.
*****
Internet connection's crappy. I did a math assignment. Hopefully, I solved them correctly. I enjoy solving math problems. I love the challenge. The nerd in me.

The sundae craving stops here. After a chat about Teriyaki Boy, I'm now craving for sushi.

Sunday Sundae
*****
The internet connection was gone this morning. So while waiting, I decided to amuse myself by playing what games installed in the computer. I never thought that a game of Wheel of Fortune can be SO stressful! After playing for about an hour, I finally won a game. Finally!
*****
Guess who got kicked off Pinoy Idol today: Sue Ellen. The cutest girl on the show. In Wyngard's own words, "the doll on top of a cake". I kinda like her voice. It was unique unlike the usual birit voice that singing contestants tend to have. For a probinsiyana, I never expected her to sound like a foreign artist yet she did. No punto. Though she has one when she speaks. Guess her uniqueness wasn't enough to pull her through another week. I think the power of the birit still prevails in such contests.

I'm still waiting for the sundae craving to end.

Twilight + Idol = Sundae Cravings
*****
Been reading Twilight since yesterday. The hype finally caught up on me. Sort of. Well, at least the hype about Robert Pattinson playing Edward Cullen did. And I heard (read actually) that lots of the book’s fans don’t like him playing the part. So I looked at some of the movie’s promotional shots and there’s only one thing that came to mind upon seeing his face: he STILL looks like he’s playing Cedric Diggory. So I decided to read the book to see if his detractors are right. Well, I haven’t finished the book yet but as far as I’ve read, I CAN certainly imagine Robert playing Edward.
*****
I still can’t believe it’s possible but the Pinoy Idol hopefuls are getting better week after week. At least some of them are. Still, the show can really get to my nerves at times. Especially the Idol Extra episodes. Is that show really necessary? Oh, and Wyngard’s OBVIOUSLY trying to emulate Simon Cowell which is freakin’ annoying! But there’s always a good thing in everything. Ely and the rest of Pupil will be mentors on the show!

I need an ice cream sundae fix right now.
